Internship



Optimism Entertainment's Internship Program offers a select group of undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to work and learn talent/literary management & production first hand from elite entertainment executives.

During the  semester- long program, interns are exposed to a wide variety of business practices in the field of entertainment and also receive formal instruction on the fundamentals of talent management as well as feature film & Television production.

Students who are actively enrolled in a four-year undergraduate bachelor degree program or graduate degree program (M.A., J.D., M.B.A., etc.) at an accredited college or university, or are a recent college graduate within the past 2 years are eligible to apply to the program.  Students must have completed at least their sophomore year course work.  There is no restriction on what declared major, degree program or course of study applicants must pursue. Our internship program is ongoing throughout the year.


All Internship applications must include: a cover letter requesting consideration for the program which describes their career interests in the entertainment industry and/or the talent and literary representation business; a resume with all relevant education, work experience, special skills and interests; and at least two letters of recommendation.

A: This is an unpaid internship for school credit and/or industry experience

A: Internship program hours are typically 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday.

Q: Is there a dress code?
A: Yes, Interns are expected to dress for a professional work environment.

Q: Do I need to have a car?
A: No, Interns are not required to own cars, but they must provide their own transportation to and from work.

Q: Does Optimism Entertainment provide housing for Interns?
A: No, Interns must make arrangements for their own housing during the Internship program.
